Why we fell in love with this place
Spain has always been one of our favourite destinations. We love its diversity, its people, its culture, its food and the sense of history that can be felt almost everywhere.
For us, Andalusia is the very best of Spain. Life moves at a different pace here. The sunshine, the atmosphere and the relaxed way of living make it a place we kept returning to, year after year.
When we discovered this corner of the Costa del Sol, with its sea views, beautiful surroundings and unique location between the mountains and the Mediterranean, we knew we had found something special. That is how Cifuentes Horizon began.
We're Gorana and Michel
We have always loved discovering new places and have stayed in holiday homes all over the world. Over the years, we learned what truly makes a stay memorable: comfort, quality and the small touches that make a place feel welcoming from the moment you arrive.
When creating Cifuentes Horizon, we focused on the things we value most as guests ourselves — spacious living, beautiful surroundings, practical comforts and a relaxed atmosphere that makes it easy to settle in and enjoy every moment.
Today, we are delighted to share this special place with others and hope you will enjoy it as much as we do.

Lunch by the sea
Chiringuito Torre Velerín grilled sardines on the beach at sunset. Simple, authentic and one of the reasons we keep coming back.
Evening paseo
An evening walk through Marbella’s charming old town is a ritual we never tire of. Wander its narrow streets, discover hidden squares and settle into a terrace as the town comes to life.
Morning ritual
Peña y Toro for espresso and fresh churros. The locals have stood at this counter for forty years. We do too, when we're home.
Day trip: Gibraltar
A place unlike anywhere else in Europe. British, Spanish and Mediterranean influences meet on a rocky peninsula at the edge of the continent.
Hiking
The trails above Marbella offer views that rival our terrace — and you’ll have fewer crowds. One of our favourite ways to spend a few hours.
Art and culture
Málaga is one of our favourite cities for art and culture. The Picasso Museum is world-class and well worth a visit.
